Lo! The last night has arrived.
Chitra must return anew
To lips as fresh as ashoka leaves
From Arjuna’s kisses-blue.
Her gentle frame must do away
With femininity like honey-dew
And in the chains of masculine bravery
An honest maiden must prove.
Chitra must return anew
To lips as fresh as ashoka leaves
From Arjuna’s kisses-blue.
Her gentle frame must do away
With femininity like honey-dew
And in the chains of masculine bravery
An honest maiden must prove.
She calls out to Madana and Vasanta
And prays her prayers with devotion and love
“Make me shine pure and bright
Grant me this, oh dear doves!”
They looked upon the dying flame
And blessed the last flickers from above.
And prays her prayers with devotion and love
“Make me shine pure and bright
Grant me this, oh dear doves!”
They looked upon the dying flame
And blessed the last flickers from above.
