She had been waiting for the movie to premier on the television. Her heart was set on watching the movie in theater but the condition she was in had prohibited her from doing so. She had found it incredibly challenging to travel much from the past month. He had been incredibly cooperative and supportive of her in the last 9 months, and this provided her with all the reassurances that she had needed. She knew that she had made the right choice in him. So many times people tend to change in moments such as these, but he had been a never ending source of care and love for her throughout their time together.
She sat in the hospital lobby, disappointed that the movie had ended an hour ago. Although her husband had thoughtfully scheduled it for recording in their Tata Sky+ set top box, she was getting restless to see the movie. There had been thousands of such recordings which she had never again got time to see. The unfortunate turn of events made her feel irritated. "Why did the roads have to be flooded with rain today?!" She thought to herself. Her husband almost reading her mind said - "Darling, I want you to see something!" in a tone of enthusiasm. Out of all the things, all she wanted right now to be in isolation. Her mind was too heated to engage in a conversation. She snapped - "What is it? I don't want to see anything right now!". He kept patience and continued with his loving tone - "Please baby, I swear you won't regret it!". She faced towards him and looked down at his tablet where the movie was playing. Her eyes bloomed and a sense of surprise cloyed her. She looked at him. She realized that she had seen the new Tata Sky+ ad where they talked about this new feature where the recorded broadcasts can be transfered to the subscriber's mobile. His presence of mind was something she had always found attractive. A sweet smile spread across her face as she watched her favorite actor flash across the scene.
She knew that she had made the right choice.
