So, basically I am not that famous on ask.fm. Most questions people post are for banter and is answered pretty unintelligibly. However, as I am too jobless to do something productive, I quite often check my g-mail account. Wherever there is that highlighted "1" on the social tab of my account, I get extremely excited which is a very sorry scene to be honest. Anyways, I saw that someone had left a question for me. Being in the Presumptuous kind, I thought it was another one of "those" questions. However, I was left pretty stranded by the question. It asked-

"So you actually wrote in your blog's about column that you persuaded to write such exquisite blogs to change the world's perceptions, to make a wastrel into a dreamer but now your blogs are all about excellent fictitious works. But i just want to say that do these works coherent to your about words?"The moment I finished reading the question, flashes of self-doubt seemed to pass by. I thought to my self, is that person correct!! I knew I had to answer the question, had to make a point about why I am doing what I am. My girlfriend refers to her maids ("bai" to be specific, there are two of them) as bad-bai and good-bai. (No, she is not a five year old, although it might seem so.) So, here let me call the voices in my mind as good-voice and bad-voice. The bad-voice inside me laughed, it said - "She is right !! (I have no idea why I thought of that person as a 'she', I suppose it's one of my personal stereotype. I guess somewhere in my sub-conscience, I believe girls like to discuss things like this more often than guys. Trust me, I know.) You have no clue whatsoever why you are doing this!" (And it laughed a devilish laugh - Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!)

"Okay, let me answer your question part by part. :) I hope you have a clear understanding of my POV.Yes, it's my dream to change the world in some way or the other and I believe, the best way to change it, is to change the perception of one person at a time. I do not believe there are "wastrels" in this world, no. That's what I want to put across. I want people to see things differently. Everything has something to offer to the world, and I truly believe so. So it's more about changing the world's perception and persuading to look at the flip side of a coin. :) I believe, if we open our eyes to all the possibilities that exists around us, we'll be able to understand things better, have the vision to see the acts of greater good. Now, the beauty of any fiction, especially the kind of literary fiction I try to pen down, is that it's like an onion. It might seem pretty simple, but it has layers and layers of thoughts which goes into it. It's open for scrutiny and interpretation. If any person, in this world, finds solace in my words, that would be my greatest achievement. Through building the power of multiple interpretations in my readership, I seek to make them realize that all of us have a power of seeing things at different levels. The entire world is like a fiction - utopian, dystopian or whatever you want to call it.In the end its us, who make the world what it is. In my opinion it doesn't matter if it's through fiction or facts, as long as it makes us realize that life is what we interpret it to be. As long as we have the vision to see out of the ordinary, stereotyped and bias, the possibility of a change exists. :)
Thank you for asking a meaningful question, I am honoured to answer it. :)"At times, we might think we have lost the plot. However, we do not realize that our heart somehow manages to bind everything together. I admit, at first glance of the question, of not being confident of what I was doing. These questions at times can suddenly awaken you, shake you up and rekindle the ambition and reason of your actions. Questions such as these keep you on track.
