Autumn Leaves

For those who dream,

Today's world is engulfed in brute competitiveness. No one can deny it, nor can we change it. With changing times, the trends change, the perceptions change, the people adapt themselves to the sharp turns that the world takes. It's all about fastening your seat belts and putting you pedal to the metal, drifting your way through the turns and leaving your trail behind the roads for others to follow. That's exactly what people whom we idolize do. They don't follow other's trails, but make one of their own for others to follow. That's the sign of true originality. True greatness.

We all want to be like the person whom we idolize. Have stardom. Have limelight. Have people smile at us when we go out. The only way we usually find to do this is by stepping on a thousand similar aspirations, Similar dreams. What happens to them? No one cares. They are ignored like the fallen leaf of a tree in the season of autumn, brushed aside somewhere, it is left there to rot in there. But that doesn't mean that the leaf never were young, full of potential to grow, develop to the leaf which would add to the beauty of the tree. Everyone has that phase of life. That season of autumn. But it doesn't mean we can't be reborn. Reborn with an inferno raging within us. An inferno which makes that deep scar on the face of this world. The one which shall be felt by the world for generations to come.

Not everyone has to be the best. Not everyone needs to have the glamour. Not everyone wants to be the famous one. Do what your heart desires. Do what makes you happy. Makes you satisfied. Because when you do that it's going to be more than just following other's trail and being like them. Be yourself. Make yourself be the one whom others follow. Everyone has something unique in them. Everyone can do it. What other's say or think shouldn't matter, because ten years down the line when you have the whole world in your palms, they'll be the one to praise your views and perception of life. You live only once, make the most of it. Make every moment worth remembering. Make it so that when you take your last breath, when everything you did flashes before your eyes, you exhale that last breath of your life with a smile on your face. The conclusive smile which sums up your life.

In the words of Jake Miller-

I've met a million people, been a million places
Shook a million hands, seen a million faces
I've had a million lows, and a million more highs
No I haven't made a million, but I've touched a million lives.
