Swooning Sanctity

Satisfied Scold Scurried Spitefully - Sombre Skinned Scrum,
Started - Smoldering.. Seething - Skirmish Sanity -
Sensing Sober Subconscious.
Sensing - Scummy Sourness,
Sharp Speech Still
Spooks.

This post was written as a response to Indispire Edition 107.

Endnote:
The poem encapsulates the experience of childhood, particularly the incidents which leave a lasting impact on a person. The experience is that of the words spoken by a teacher that leave a lasting impression on the minds of the children. A caste-based reading of the poem is also possible - illustrating the ill treatment of Dalit children in schools.
