“Me miserable! Which way shall I fly
Infinite wrath and infinite despair?
Which way I fly is hell; myself am hell;
And in the lowest deep a lower deep,
Still threat'ning to devour me, opens wide,
To which the hell I suffer seems a heaven.”
― John Milton, Paradise Lost

The picture above is of a Syrian child who "surrendered" herself mistaking the device as a gun
when she saw the camera-man pointing his lenses at her. In the midst of devastating holocaust which has engulfed the middle eastern country - such an occurrence fills the heart with great grief and sorrow. They say that a victim's face is enough to tell you the story of a tragedy. Indeed, the barbaric consequences of the Syrian battle echoes in every wall, fallen roof and now, in the faces of innocence.

I do not know the full details of why this hell has been spread upon the Syria or what was it's need! I do not know the pain and torture of the victims of conflict nor do I know the nuances of weapons of devastation. What I do know is that- no human being that exists on this planet is born with a purpose of harm, let alone taking lives brutally. Revolt against governments, religious extremists or perpetuators of an idea is acceptable when done peacefully, the need to kill does not arise here. Those who commit such acts are not revolters, but are perpetrators who were brainwashed and made to believe that sacrificing the lives of innocent people to achieve their purpose was justifiable.
This picture of the four year old "Hudea" moved me so much that I could feel my heart shatter and faith on humanity slip from my grasps. It was reported by Daily Mail (The England based newspaper) that she and her remaining family were shifted to safer pastures which was soon captured by terrorist group - Al Qaeda.
With her future uncertain, I pray to god that she, along with all the other civilians of the Syrian state survive, regroup and resurrect their right to live a happy life. Maybe it would be impossible for them to heal the deep wounds that the war has left in the state's heart but I wish that some day a renaissance is evoked in their lands which revives the humanity.
May god protect them.
