  Examination Day

Hundreds of heart pounding in fear, in anxiety and nervousness. Scenes of young men and women browsing through their thick subject books. While some hurriedly waiting to finish off the exam somehow, others are calm and composed as if ready to face all the questions thrown at them together. But once the exams starts, the mood within the class or rather the whole school changes. Fear transforms into desperacy. They know each mark counts. Every Mark is a blessing. It is a make or break situation. They know this is going to determine their future. As a matter of fact, the life changes it's course from this point. There is a ruthless division between the phases of life ; Life before "The Exam" and life after it. No matter how smooth one's life was but if they are unable to overcome the D day challenge , everything falls apart. 

So, with all this in mind ; The consternation changes into tenacity and such tenacity which can be extraordinary at times! Students cheat from one end to the other. Some students practically beg the "Almighty" for marks! They even promise to study harder next time, but has it never occurred to them , would god really put faith in them? Because the last time they said it, they never meant it. It always has been just empty words. So once the exams are over , one gets to see a whole wide range of emotions running through each person. There can be guilt , thrill , sadness , anger and what not! So the exams are all about holding one's nerve and putting all the year long hard work in a piece of paper and none the less , the real test of one's grit , determination , will and tenacity.
